Background

Before obtaining her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Ontario in 2006, Rebeccca received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Great Distinction from McGill University in 2002 and her Master of Arts in Criminology with Excellence Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2003. While at Western, Rebecca received the Paul Bradley Award in Real Estate Law and participated in an exchange with the University of Edinburgh School of Law in Scotland. Rebecca has practiced civil litigation since her call to the bar in 2007 and her practice at Lawson LLP focusses on automobile insurance, occupier’s liability, product liability and coverage disputes. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, and Canadian Defence Lawyers.
