Background
Judy graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2001 with a degree in Commerce. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at Dalhousie University in 2004 and was called to the Bar in April 2005. She practiced at a prominent St. John’s law firm until her move to Toronto in March of 2008 to join Lawson LLP. Judy practices insurance litigation with a focus on automobile insurance (tort, accident benefits, priority disputes and loss transfer), disability insurance, occupiers’ liability, product liability and coverage disputes. Judy is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society.
