Articling

At Lawson LLP, one of our principal goals is to create an appealing place to work – not just for the lawyers and staff, but also articling students. We strive to integrate our students into our firm culture. We work closely as a group and it follows naturally that our students will have the best exposure to different styles of advocacy and all aspects of our practice.

Our students play a central role in our firm. Our articling students aren’t assigned rotations; they work closely with all the lawyers – including the partners. They aren’t tucked away in their offices doing research; they are given real responsibility and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of litigation. They draft documents, have carriage of their own files, and attend at court. You will help us find solutions for our clients’ problems.

We want you to learn as much as possible about the practice and business of law, as we look to our students first for our future growth. Lawson LLP offers a truly positive and supportive learning environment for students.
